Leading social housing PFI specialist Regenter has appointed Andrew Charlesworth as the company’s first chief executive officer.

Charlesworth, who takes up the position with immediate effect, will be responsible for developing social housing and community regeneration PFI opportunities for the company and building on Regenter’s successes in 2005.

“Regenter has led the way in the social housing and regeneration PFI arena in 2005. There are still many more opportunities to be developed and I am very excited about the future for Regenter and what our team can deliver,” commented Andrew Charlesworth.

“Andrew’s appointment as the first CEO of Regenter is a recognition of the growth of the business over the last two years and a clear indication of our expectations for Regenter to continue leading the way in the coming years,” commented Andy Friend, CEO of John Laing and Director of Regenter.

His previous experience with sector leaders such as Skanska, Mott MacDonald and Bovis Lend Lease spans Banks, Authorities, and Bidders in the Civils, Health, Education and Regeneration sectors.
